Dan had a strong alt-rock influence, starting on guitar and vocals as a kid in the mid-90’s, and began his love of 60’s and other vintage music in high school in Y2K. He studied jazz guitar and music education in college but left college to become a songwriter. He released his first album in 2016 at age 30 as Daniel C. Roth but has since updated his artist name to Dan C. Roth in 2023.
